It’s Worth the Drive to Acton

In the greater Toronto area, this line has always been synonymous with the Olde Hide House (a locally famous leather goods warehouse) but I’m hoping it will prove to be true for me on Saturday, when I make my way there for the Acton High School Craft Show. This is one of two craft sales I’ve signed on for this season and I’m really excited. I’ve been sewing and crocheting for months in preparation.

I’ve never been to this show, so I’m not sure what to expect. I’ve never even really been to Acton before. I did pass though there once accidentally when I made a wrong turn on my way home from Guelph once. It looked like a sweet little town and I’m looking forward to my visit.

From what I’ve heard, there’s sunshine predicted for Saturday and there’s still a little bit of that lovely fall foliage left on the trees. A perfect day for a drive in the country and there is no lovelier place for such a drive than Halton Hills where Acton just happens to be located. If you’re so inclined, the sale runs from 10am to 4pm at 21 Cedar Road.

Also, if the picturesque countryside isn’t enough incentive for you – remember, there are only 42 shopping days left until Christmas.

Just sayin.’
