Last week I took a break from my spring gardening blitz to finish up a new batch of coffee cuffs for my table at the Girls Day Out Swap and Shop event in Hamilton on Sunday. The event went well and I had the opportunity to talk to some interesting people. Although I wasn’t part of the swap this year, I think it’s a fantastic idea. You bring in clothes you don’t wear anymore and leave with other things. If they do it again next year, I totally want in on that action.
Now that it’s over with, I need to get back outside to my trimming, weeding and mulching.
A lot has happened on the estate since last week.
These just came out of nowhere:
The maple leaves were just buds the last time I looked:
Hey little buddy! He just kind of hopped into my frame.
Good old mint. Back again for another season.
And now, back to work.
