Now that I’m in holiday craft mode, I present my second project of the season, Candy Cane Bark:
1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 bags white chocolate chips
10 mini peppermint candy canes, crushed
Line a baking sheet with tin foil.
In a double boiler, melt semi sweet chips, then spread evenly on tin foil. Allow to cool completly.
Melt white chocolate chips in double boiler. Be very careful not to overheat, as the white chocolate will change consistency if it is left on the heat too long.
Spread melted white chocolate over semi-sweet layer.
Sprinkle crushed candy cane pieces on top. The barlk has cooled, place in the fridge until the bark is firm. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
