Yesterday, I helped run a bake sale at work to raise money for the office social committee, of which I’m a member.
I made three kinds of cookies for the sale using recipes that I have tried many times over and are nearly foolproof. If you find yourself in need of some good cookie recipes I highly recommend the following:
I love the simplicity of a sugar cookie and this recipe from the Martha Stewart website is pretty easy to make and delicious.
Chocolate Sugar Cookies
I found this recipe by way of Smitten Kitchen, a great blog for recipe ideas and culinary inspiration. These cookies look a little like sugar cookies and taste just like brownies.
Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookie
This one is also from Smitten Kitchen. Instead of raisins though, I used a berry mix. The best thing about this recipe is its versatlity. I’ve made it with chocolate chips as well as a gluten free flour mix and they turn out perfect every time.
